Given DELL TECHNOLOGIES global presence the project was extensive, involving many stakeholders locally and overseas and proved challenging for the designers, this was overcome with multiple design presentations and 3D imagery.
Working closely with the internal Singapore based design team we respected their input although had to Australian-ise the concept, with great success. The main design focus being the remodel of the Customer Solutions Centre, being the welcome zone for clients featuring the best of DELL TECHNOLOGIES product for client demonstrations.
The physical scope of the project was across 3 levels in 2 different buildings, under 2 different leases with 2 different Landlords, basically 2 projects running sequentially although treated as one by our client. Our approach to the many unknown challenges presented was an end to end agile project management process, always looking for continuous improvement. IDPM successfully implemented this project surprising DELL TECHNOLOGIES with our results accelerating the project ahead of other projects not under IDPM control.
In summary, IDPM represented DELL TECHNOLOGIES from initial project brief, integrating all documentation including interior design, services design, structural design, cost planning, programming, certification, tendering, recommendations, contract administration and finally project handover. The projects were delivered in live environments with minimal disruption to staff and professionally built and delivered to the highest standards as expected by DELL TECHNOLOGIES, we look forward to working once again with DELL TECHOLOGIES.
